A man took over a transport cart at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York and used it to damage moving walkways, authorities reported.
Kevin J. Sinning, a 29-year-old from Wyoming, was arrested around 1 a.m. on July 28. He faces multiple charges, including criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, grand larceny, and possession of stolen property worth over $3,000, according to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Police.
Police said Sinning appeared drunk at the time of his arrest, NBC News reported.
Videos shared on social media show Sinning driving the cart slowly through airport hallways. One clip reveals damaged metal beams on a moving walkway, while another shows the cart being driven down a walkway too narrow for it, crushing metal and breaking glass along the way.
A TikTok video of the incident, allegedly featuring Sinning, gained over 9 million views and 450,000 likes.
Sinning declined to comment when reached by NBC on Friday.
