Chelsea are ramping up their pursuit of Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons as part of their plans to strengthen their attack.

Chelsea are intensifying efforts to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United and Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, while Nicolas Jackson could be sold as part of their attacking overhaul.

The club has already brought in Liam Delap, João Pedro, and Jamie Gittens, with Garnacho and Simons now their top targets.

Garnacho, who hasn’t featured in United’s pre-season, is available for around £50 million, though Chelsea are hesitant to meet that price. The Argentine forward is reportedly open to joining Chelsea after being told he isn’t part of new manager Ruben Amorim’s plans. While no official bid has been made yet, Chelsea are expected to move soon, especially as United look to balance their finances ahead of signing Benjamin Šeško from Leipzig.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are in talks with Leipzig for Simons, who has reportedly agreed personal terms despite interest from Bayern Munich. The 22-year-old, who can play multiple attacking roles, joined Leipzig from PSG in January for €50 million after two successful loan spells. He could now cost around €70 million (£61 million), with Leipzig eyeing Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott as a potential replacement.

Nicolas Jackson may also leave Chelsea, despite preferring to stay. The arrivals of Delap and Pedro have pushed him down the pecking order, and the club is willing to sell for the right price. Newcastle, Milan, and other Italian clubs are interested, with Chelsea likely to demand around £80 million.

In other moves:
– Chelsea’s 19-year-old striker Marc Guiu is set to join Sunderland on loan after completing his medical.
– Everton have signed midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for £28 million on a five-year deal.
– Burnley are close to signing Armando Broja for £20 million and may pay a similar fee for Lesley Ugochukwu.
– Borussia Dortmund are in talks for a permanent deal for Carney Chukwuemeka, who spent part of last season on loan in Germany.

Chelsea have already sold Kepa Arrizabalaga, Noni Madueke, Djordje Petrović, and João Félix for a combined fee that could exceed £100 million. They are also looking to offload Raheem Sterling—who spent last season on loan at Arsenal—along with Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Christopher Nkunku, and Ben Chilwell.

The club’s latest signing is Dutch defender Jorrel Hato, who joined from Ajax for £37 million on Sunday.
