Învelișul barei de progres este setat să se fixeze în apropierea părții superioare a viewport-ului. Acesta acoperă întreaga lățime a ecranului cu margini specifice și începe invizibil, apărând treptat pe parcursul a jumătate de secundă. Lățimea și marginile sale se modifică la diferite dimensiuni ale ecranului: 620px lățime la 30em, 740px la 46.25em, 980px la 61.25em, 1140px la 71.25em cu marginea stângă ajustată și 1300px la 81.25em cu o margine stângă și mai mare.
Bara de progres în sine are o înălțime de 6 pixeli, inițial nu are lățime și folosește culoarea principală de brand a site-ului. Devine complet vizibilă atunci când este activă.
