Pro zařízení iOS a Android jsou nastavení přetečení článku upravena, aby se předešlo problémům s posouváním. Na Androidu je pozice ukazatele průběhu nastavena 58 pixelů od horního okraje.
Obal ukazatele průběhu je nastaven tak, aby zůstal přilepený poblíž horního okraje zobrazení. Zabírá celou šířku obrazovky s konkrétními okraji a zpočátku je neviditelný, objevuje se během půl sekundy. Jeho šířka a okraje se mění při různých velikostech obrazovky: 620px při 30em, 740px při 46,25em, 980px při 61,25em, 1140px při 71,25em s upraveným levým okrajem a 1300px při 81,25em s dále zvětšeným levým okrajem.
Samotný ukazatel průběhu je vysoký 6 pixelů, zpočátku nemá žádnou šířku a používá primární barvu značky webu. Stává se plně viditelným, když je aktivní.
Dále jsou načítány vlastní soubory písma "Guardian Headline Full" v různých tloušťkách a stylech (light, regular, medium, každé s normální a kurzivní verzí) ze serverů Guardianu.@font-face {
