Ukrainian authorities are investigating whether a recent terrorist attack in Kyiv was orchestrated by Moscow. The incident occurred on Saturday when a gunman killed six people before being shot dead by police.
The 58-year-old attacker opened fire on pedestrians, then barricaded himself inside a supermarket, taking hostages. Police cordoned off the area in the Holosiivskyi district and attempted to negotiate with him. After a 40-minute standoff, he was killed when he refused to surrender.
