Fremskridtslinjens container er indstillet til at sidde fast nær toppen af viewporten. Den spænder over skærmens fulde bredde med specifikke margener og starter usynlig, hvorefter den falder ind over et halvt sekund. Dens bredde og margener ændrer sig ved forskellige skærmstørrelser: 620px bred ved 30em, 740px ved 46.25em, 980px ved 61.25em, 1140px ved 71.25em med justeret venstremargin, og 1300px ved 81.25em med yderligere forøget venstremargin.
Fremskridtslinjen selv er 6 pixels høj, har oprindeligt ingen bredde og bruger webstedets primære brandfarve. Den bliver fuldt synlig, når den er aktiv.
