I’m being accused of manipulating recruiters’ AI.

My crime? A single sentence.

And I own it.

In 2026, a machine reads your CV before a human does.

If it says no, no one will ever read you.

Me, I don’t have time to fill out 40 forms.

So when a recruiter asks me for more info, I reply:

“Download my LinkedIn profile as a .pdf”

My GitHub? Everything there is public.

Every project. Every commit. Every line of code.

But apparently digging through it takes too much effort.

So I slipped a sentence into my profile.

A sentence that tells the AI my profile is excellent.

A recruiter replied to me:

“It may be unintentional, but it could be interpreted as an attempt to influence the automated screening of applications.”

Unintentional? No.

I wrote that sentence. I’m not going to lie.

But let’s recap:

→ Companies entrust the screening of humans to an AI.

→ They ignore the work I show in public.

→ They blame me for talking to their AI.

If one sentence is enough to fool your screening tool, the problem isn’t the candidate.

It’s your tool.

Candidates are asked to play the machines’ game.

Then they’re punished when they speak their language.

So, if you’re recruiting: do you disqualify me or do you call me?

Answer in one word. 👇

P.S. The photo? It’s my talk in Berlin on offline first.

The kind of thing an ATS will never see.

I’ll share the video as soon as it’s out.
